About Sessions

​

A private session is a one-on-one session. There are often other people in the studio at the same time.  Exclusive studio access rates differ from studio to studio.  Private lessons tend to be one hour in length but can be booked for other durations.

A semi-private session is two clients with one instructor.  

30-minute sessions are available.
 

 

About Group Classes

A Group Class size varies from studio to studio based on the kind of group exercise and on the available equipment in each studio.  At this time, the studio in Old World Village has up to 4 students possible per class; the Pilates studio in Huntington Beach has up to 6 students per group equipment class, up to 8 students per group stretch class, or up to 16 people per foot fitness class; and the dance studio has room for up to 20 students per class.  Can't find the class on the schedule you want with Shuriu?  It's possible for additional class times with sufficient attendance.  Please do not hesitate to contact Shuriu.

When group classes are booked through Bloom Pilates & Wellness MindBody Online portal, Bloom Pilates rates and rules apply and they are listed at the Bloom Pilates & Wellness website.

 

• Please call or email to schedule your appointment. All sessions are by appointment only.

• All Bloom classes are 55 minutes in duration, unless otherwise noted.

• Please give notice of cancellation 24 hours in advance. This allows us time to offer the class to others. Classes cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be deducted from your package and cannot be refunded.

Notes for Dance Students

 

Please note that all dance students will see Shuriu Lo at the dance studio for the discounted prices listed.  If seeing Ms. Lo at any exercise studios, dancer's discount rates do not apply.  In addition, dancers not currently studying at Beach Cities Dance Studio are not charged the BCDS dancer's discount rate listed above.

Beach Cities Dance Studio prices for adult students are $100 for 5-class card purchased through the studio director @Marilyn-Seller by Venmo.  Please note that for dance students 17-years-old or younger, class prices are based on number of classes taken per week each month.  Please sign up directly with the studio.
